Really looking forward to watching this the whole way through, I've watched several clips on youtube to learn some parts from songs and just watch it, but I'd love to see it straight through no gaps. I really hope they come over to Australia soon, also I heard they're being supported by Animals as Leaders at the moment, so if both of them came over I would be the happiest guy alive seeing BTBAM are my favourite band and AAL Are up there.

7/8 Song I'm working on

So earlier today I was just messing around with guitar and played something that I really liked and worked on it, but I was trying to explore some more time signatures rather than the straight 4/4 and came up with this. The whole thing is in 7/8, I've worked out a bit after it which is in 4/4 but need to actually record it and lay it down first to get it sounding how I want, but heres just a video recording of me playing it.

Chris Letchford's Guitar Technique Book

So today I received a nice gift in the mail, even though I purchased it.

Front Cover of the book.
It's Chris Letchford's guitar instruction book, he's the guitarist from scale the summit an instrumental metal band with a fair bit of progressive features and a lot of two handed tapping styled stuff. First time I heard this band I was amazed by the musicality, although I couldn't list to them over and over as it starts to kind of sound the same, but shuffled in with my other music its excellent, and really fun stuff to play. So I decided to buy his instructional book, I've had a quick look through and it looks really awesome, description and then the tabs, and gives 'bpm goal'.

I'm really looking forward to playing through it and hope I get something out of it, I've heard nothing but great reviews about this book, so I'll give a followup review in a week or so once I've properly gone through it.
